Frequently Asked Questions
Membership, beneficiaries, billing, and cancellation — answered.
What's included in a NexoCare membership?+
Your membership gives you ongoing access to a dedicated primary care physician — Dr. Karla Cornejo — through telemedicine, home visits, preventive care, chronic condition follow-up, lab review, and coordination with specialists when needed.
How many beneficiaries can I add to my membership?+
You can add up to 4 beneficiaries to your membership, for a maximum of 5 people in total, including you.
What billing periods are available?+
You can choose to be billed monthly, every 3 months, every 6 months, every 9 months, or annually. The total is simply the monthly rate multiplied by the number of months — there's no discount for choosing a longer period.
What happens if a payment fails?+
Your membership is paused immediately and we email you to let you know. We automatically retry the charge once a day for 5 consecutive days against your primary payment method. You can also trigger a manual retry, or update your payment method, at any time during that window. If the charge still hasn't gone through after the 5th attempt, the membership is canceled automatically.
Can I cancel my membership myself from the portal?+
Cancellations are processed by our team, not self-service. Message us on WhatsApp or email info@nexocarepanama.com and we'll take care of it. Your membership and its benefits stay active through the end of the period you've already paid for.
Can I change my plan or billing period?+
Yes — reach out to us and we'll update it for you. Plan and billing period changes take effect at your next billing cycle; there's no partial-period proration.
Is NexoCare an emergency service?+
No. NexoCare focuses on primary and preventive care. For a medical emergency, please go to the nearest hospital or contact local emergency services directly.
How do I request a visit or ask a question outside my appointments?+
Message us on WhatsApp. NexoCare doesn't yet have online appointment scheduling, so WhatsApp is the fastest way for us to coordinate care with you.
